Good News and Bad

WE WONNNNN!!!!! Yes we won Spirit Week! Again! This week was super fun, but it made me realize how much I am going to miss my class and my school. I hated it in the beginning, but now I have come to appreciate it and really get close to my class. This week I think we all worked really hard to win and it brought our class closer. But another thing that happened this week was I backed into another car and this time, after leaving a note, they called and I am assuming they will file an insurance claim even though last time I checked they had not...yet. So that is the third strike and I will not be driving any more which is a complete bummer, but I guess if this is the second time I have backed up into a parked car that I shouldn't anyway. *sigh* Oh well. This Monday I am going into San Francisco to look for a prom dress because we have the day off!! I am so excited for prom and shopping! Well, I am about to go get ready to play tennis and get a tan...kinda...the sun isn't really out!

We're Going to Win Spirit Week

This week I really felt the pressure of school!! I had a calc test on thursday and an econ test today, which I'm kinda nervous about. I did well on the calc test....much better than the last one. You were right Merissa! I really needed to do well on that test. Now onto fixing my other grades like Religion and Econ...I cannot believe I am getting a B+ in religion. Gotta try harder I guess, but just these past 2 days studying for those 2 tests...hard work really sucks the energy out of me! But! I must keep going. I am so glad today is Friday! I am now addicted to Battlestar Galactica, which I think is completely nerdy of me, but hey I will blame my dad for ordering it on Netflix and getting the whole family hooked! So anyways I'm glad it is Friday so I can just watch that after Ryan and Reagan (the twins I babysit) go to bed! Tomorrow will be full of work because spirit week is next week!!!!! Seniors are going to win! We got our class t-shirts today and they look awesome! Spirit week is very competitive at Holy Names. Usually the Senior class wins, but last year the we won first place over the Seniors and now we have to fight to keep win our title again! So intense. The dress up days are monochromatic, so we have to wear all the same color clothes that day, high school stereotype, so I'm going to be prom princess or queen or homecoming queen or princess (haven't quite decided yet) and other people can be jocks, cheerleaders, nerds, emo people, and the last day is the fairytale dress up day. The theme for spirit week is fairy tales, so each class chooses a fairytale. On fairytale dress up day we have to be one of the characters out of Shrek, since that is the "fairytale" we chose. I really don't consider Shrek to be a fairytale. The way we win spirit week is by getting the most points. To win points we need all of our classmates to dress up on the different days, win the games we play at lunch, win the skit (all the classes make up a skit), and win the hallway. Tomorrow is a work day where all of the classes come to school to work on props for our hallway. We have to decorate our hallway according to the fairytale we chose. It is going to be a crazy week especially since I have 2 more tests! On Wednesday, I will be taking my Physics test in a prom dress! Fun fun fun!!! I probably won't have time to write on this blog thing during the week, but I will definitely write when we win spirit week. Yes...we will win!!
