Summer

I haven't written on this thing in a long time!! As of now, there are 3 days until I leave for UC Irvine, 4 days until I actually move in and meet my roommate, 9 days until I classes start and lots of days until it is summer again. Summer went so fast as usual, but the last few days have gone by slowly especially because most of my friends left for college and Tristan went back to school. I discovered that I hate waking up to an empty house. Parents gone, brother gone...nothing to do. Boringgggg! Because of this boredom, I decided to be like Julie in the movie Julie and Julia and cook every day. That lasted only 3 days. But I made some really yummy dinner rolls, a carrot cake, and french onion soup. I hung out with Lauren and Babybel a lot since I'll be off at college. Birthdays were fun, but I don't feel older. Then we had a Sonoma trip with Cass. Took lots of pictures and put them in a Shutterfly book so that they're all organized. I just had a Lord of the Rings movie marathon to prepare to live in Middle Earth. Middle Earth is the housing area I'm going to live in and I'm pretty excited about it! It's my inner nerd, but I can't help it! I love the Lord of the Rings.
